Russ and Mary Raney founded Evesham Wood in 1986. He and his wife have since retired and sold the winery to Erin and Jordan Noccio, owners of Haden Fig winery, who they worked with for a long time and share values of making wine from sustainable, low yield fruit with minimal intervention. The Willamette Valley release is made from fruit from 9 sustainable, organic, and/or biodynamic vineyards. All are certified LIVE and Salmon Safe. The wine is a light Burgundian style, fermented with proprietary yeast and aged in neutral French oak, and great value for Oregon pinot.
