Donkey & Goat Ramato 2018,
Donkey & Goat is an urban winery in the Bay Area, owned and operated by Tracy and Jared Brandt. They trained in France and brought a natural winemaking philosophy back to the states, where they became early leaders in the practices. The grapes for this wine come from the Biodynamic Filligreen Farm. The juice is acerated on its skins for about 5 days in concrete tanks, then fermented iand aged for about 7 months in french oak barrels. It is unfined and unfiltered with just a small addition of sulfur. This medium bodied wine has juicy acidity and notes of cranberry and earl grey tea.
