This is a carefully constructed blend of wines produced from different Willamette Valley areas and predominantly Laurelwood soils along with volcanic and marine sedimentary soils. The estate utilizes mostly French and Hungarian oak, 21% of which is new.
2017 was a warm and dry vintage that accentuates the fruit in this wine, but its trademark texture and concentration show through
Montinore was an early adopter of biodynamic farming practices in the region and their wines have gotten better in recent years.
